`O What a Horrible Slacker am I!!

Yes, the cat is out of the bag...I'm a slacker. I haven't updated my blog since FEBRUARY!!! I have a slight problem with consistency. I knew this would happen. I get into something and never "keep at it". It was that way with my MySpace page, it happened when I joined a gym many moons ago, it has happened with a countless many hobby I've had over the years. It requires a commitment that I just can't seem to handle. (Enter the psycho-babble...it seems you have some deep-seeded intimacy issues...). Nooooo...that's not it at all...I'm just...lazy. So, I think I will try to recapture the last few months very VERY briefly:

MARCH: Well I honestly can't think of anything of great social significance that happened. I hosted my monthly Scrapbook Club (check it out HERE). I made David call his mom for her birthday, like I do every year--two days early, like I do every year...I just want her to get older faster I guess!! That's about it for March.

APRIL: Again my fast-paced, highly desirable lifestyle is just SOOO packed with events, I don't know where to begin! So I'll skip to the end!

MAY: Now, we're getting somewhere!! Lots of fun stuff this month (and I actually remember most of it!). On the 2nd, I took a trip to Atlanta to visit Archiver's (a scrapbook store, for those not in the know). Stephanie & Cindy P. went with me, and I must say we had a good time!! I even pu
t a dent in the Kia as a souvenir! Then, of course, there was Mother's Day!! David's mom actually accepted the invitation to our house for lunch. He had to go get her & drive her to our house, but she was there none-the-less!
On the 18th, David turned 36. I had to work, so he was home with the kids alone; not much of a birthday if you ask me. But he did spend his birthday building my birthday present.
My new STICKER STATION!!! I love my Husband!! He does so many wonderful things for me AND puts up with all my bullsh*t!!! Can't beat that! And now today is Memorial Day! First enacted to recognize Union soldiers of the American Civil War, but now honors all military personnel who have died serving our wonderful country! The meaning and emotions for this holiday are often lost, but I challenge everyone to say a prayer of thanks to the men & women who have died protecting what is all too often taken for granted...Our America.

Well there you have it, three glorious months summed up in a few sentences. Why did I even start this blog??? What could I possibly offer to anyone??? Who knows. But I guess I'll keep on doing it, hopefully with postings of substance and with more regularity. So here we go, TAKE TWO!
