Reviving an Old Obsession

So, thanks to my mother, I've always been a fan of Scrabble...yes the board game. When my parents were still married (another lifetime ago), my Momma was a stay at home mom. She used to play Scrabble by herself & I would watch. It wasn't until many years later that I discovered Scrabble really isn't a one person game, but this never stopped me from playing solo.

Over the years, I've roped in a few people, twisted a few arms, made a few unsavory promises in order to strike up a game of Scrabble. My wonderful husband David has emerged as a worthy opponent. He plays mostly to humor me, and I love him endlessly for indulging me.

Like most of my hobbies (obsessions), Scrabble has completed another cycle & is now a MUST everyday. So I'm having a hard time juggling all my very important events...scrapbooking, reading, photography, oh yeah, and taking care of my family (you know, the little things like cooking, cleaning, helping with homework...). I tried to play Scrabble on Facebook, but that application soooo is not worth the hassle. I was pleased with Scrabble on Pogo and have really honed my scoring & wordsmith skills. Look me up for a game if you're ever on Pogo.com, Nurcynrox. I love sucking people into my obsessions!
