I have a confession...I'm a bit of nerd. I know, shocker right? Or maybe I'm a geek, I'm not really sure. I don't think I'm smart enough to be a nerd, nor am I witty and sophisticated enough to be a geek. But I digress.
My friends and coworkers tend to shake their heads at me when they see my fabulous array of color coordinated file folders, categorized notebooks or my itemized agenda for our family vacation. Really, I don't understand their confusion. Or is it amusement? Hard for me to tell. My absolute claim to fame would have to be my list making skills.
- My Amazing Life in Lists--I positively flipped out when I saw this book in at Books-a-Million. My friend Meredith, once again, just shook her head at me
- Listography.com--I think of it like my Facebook page in list form
- Pinterest--I think of it as a list with pictures. SCORE!!
Made by Moleskine, it's a book to keep track of the restaurants I visit. Why would I want that, you ask? Why not?? It's a freaking list!! Awesomeness. David & I make it a point to have a "Date Night" at least once a month. We try to pick grown up restaurants and we like to go to places we have never visited. This book is so cool...there is a WISH LIST for me to jot down the places we would like to go, a section for restaurant reviews, one for pubs/bars, take-out joints, and a blank section to add my own stuff...and junk (Futurama joke there). David just shook his head at me when I got the journal in the mail yesterday. What is it with this head shaking, people?? You should seriously check out the Moleskine website, though. There are all kinds of diaries, journals, notebooks and such. This restaurant journal can be found in the Passions collection, which also has a really cool Baby journal that is perfect new mommies. Some of the journals can be found at Barnes & Noble or Books-a-Million (I ordered mine from Amazon).
