Sunday Summary

I suppose this would be my first Sunday Summary.  If my dedication persists, I might have many of such installments.  Being the first, I'm sure this post will be a little awkward and will refine itself over the next few weeks...hopefully.  Since I can't recap every aspect of my life in a short blog post, I think I should capture highlights.  Yes...a highlight reel.  Sounds fun.  Hmmm...what things should we include in said highlight reel?  I feel a list developing!  Yippee!
  • WORK:  I noticed this week that when I'm extremely focused or have a lot of projects to complete, people think I'm in a bad mood.  Thursday, while I was skating, I recalled all the people that asked, "What's the matter?"  Nothing, nothing is the matter.  I was never in a surly mood nor do I recall having said or done anything that would lead my coworkers to ask such.  I will have to study upon this a bit further.

  •  FAMILY:  This one will be a tad harder for me to share.  It's one thing to put my life out into the ether, but to put my family??  Let's skip this one for this week.  I will add that Meaghan enjoyed a Saturday Night Out with her parents...on purpose...at her request...without any teenaged angst...it was absolutely lovely!  I enjoy time with my baby girl.
  • HEALTH & FITNESS:  I haven't been as "rigid" with my Weight Watchers as I have been over the past couple of weeks.  I've actually had some pretty bad "cheats" this week.  But on the upside, I am now officially under 200#.  Well, 199.7# but hey, that's still 0.3 under 200, so it counts.  Also, I exercised every day except Friday, including Saturday and today.  It's not getting easier, but I'm not giving up just yet.  I have a derby goal, yano.
  • DERBY LIFE: It's not really a "life" yet, still just a dream.  In my teach-yourself-how-to-derby program, I have accomplished crossovers and can almost do a smooth T-stop...almost.  We did go see the River Region Rollergirls in a bout against the Rome Roller Girls.  I was very intent on learning everything I could from a distance.  There were several moments during the bout that I thought "I can never do that".  Earlier this week, I looked up the Skills Test and again thought it will never happen.  But I'm going to try.

  •   RANDOM TIDBIT:  This is a beta category of sorts.  I think I will just put odd findings of amusement here.  This week, I thought I would include my favorite Pinterest pin of this week.  Seriously, folks, who doesn't love a puppy??  Freaking Awesomeness!

That's it for this week guys!  Sorry it wasn't filled with any life altering information or snazzy recipes that will go viral, but I sure am happy to have written this post.  I suppose that's the most important thing.  Laters baby (oh yes, I went there)
